Funny, I was driving to my office this morning and noticed my BB58 looking sort of faded. I have commented before my bezel is no longer a gilt bezel. The markers have faded to a silver color (which I do like). The blue one from OP seems either artificially faded or weird lighting. I purchased a Tudor Black Bay 36 some time ago, and I have a question to do with the mechanics and my perhaps absurdly good hearing. It is a genuine watch purchased from a reputable dealer, and had the usual tick tick tick sound when you place it against your ear. Rolex and Tudor movements are impressive but the ETA 2824 has been around and time tested. There are different grades of the movement. I would assume Tudor uses the top grade. The ease of service is an advantage over in-house movements. I have several affordable watches with ETAs.

BB36 is excellent value and BNiB + warranty. Explorer I is a rolex, holds its value better in the long run, but only available as used with no warranty. Plus the stress involved in hunting down a nice one for the right price! It's a field watch in the style of the Black Bay, from which it takes it's name. It's size will appeal to those who are tired of huge watches, but are still attracted to a highly visible dial with a nod to Tudor's past.

Love the vintage look of the hour markers without any white gold surrounds, and the riveted bracelet is cool too!!!
