Here is my watch Top 25 'best' watch brand ranking I established based on a few criteria I believe make a great watchmaker, listed below. I doubt we will ever find a concensus on this as a community but here is my best attempt. Let me know if you agree or if I missed a brand that belongs in this top 25! Criteria. This makes my recommendation for a first “do it all” watch below within your price range: Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium. Hamilton Khaki, I’ve bought watches that are 10x as expensive and I wear the Hamilton the most still.
